The Los Angeles Lakers will sign forward Jamil Wilson to a 10-day contract according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Clippers waived Wilson on his two-way contract, and the forward will just be switching locker rooms. Wilson who came into the league in 2014 was undrafted out of Marquette University. Wilson has played in the G-League and bounced around internationally until getting some play time with the Clippers. Wilson averaged 7.0 ppg, 2.1 rpg, and shot 43% from behind the arc during his stint with the Clippers.
The Lakers, who desperately need shooting, will be evaluating him. It’s very low-risk for the Lakers since he’ll be on a 10-day contract.
