In the 2013 NBA Draft, the Lakers only had one pick. That pick came at number 48, and the Lakers chose 6-11 forward Ryan Kelly from Duke University. Kelly is a really good shooter and has raised his points per game average in every year he has been at Duke. In the 2012-2013 season at Duke, he's averaged 12.9 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and 1.7 APG. Kelly is a deep threat from outside as his 3-point percentage in the 2012-2013 season was at 42% and his FT percentage was at 81%. Kelly can hit the boards fairly well, but lacks a little bit of athleticism. We shall see what this kid has to contribute to the Lakers organization.
